2004年3月24日に梅津泰臣が原作、監督、キャラクターデザインを手掛けたアニメ「MEZZO」(2004年1月よりTVK他全国U局6局などで放映)のOP曲「スキマミマイタイ」ＥＤ曲「蜜」が収録されたミニアルバムです。

All-girl band Barnabys is sadly defunct now but this album remains. "5 Songs", recorded at the band’s peak in 2004, features 'Ski Mami Mai Tai', which was used as the theme song for "Mezzo" – a popular Japanese TV animation series set in futuristic Tokyo – and became a mid-range domestic hit. Barnabys formed in 1999 as a 4-piece band (later a 3-piece), became popular in the indie rock scene and contributed several tracks for compilation albums before releasing "5 Songs". They described themselves as 'a very girlie band that plays like boys'. Indeed, the group had terrific drive, forcefulness and speed, as well as sensitivity.
